Captain Chip Wingo
Wing Nut Charters
Welcome to March. March is considered a transition month in North Florida. As water temperatures start increasing closer to 70 degrees. Lots of predators will be chewing,
Been doing well with redfish on the bottom of the low tides on shallow flats and creek mouths. Soft
plastic flukes and curly tails (Fish bites fight club baits) white 1/8 ounce white jig heads worked slow will do the trick.
Look for bigger speckled trout to start showing up in the grass lines in the intercoastal during the last part of incoming tide. Work soft plastic paddle tails and suspending hard baits like the mirrodine in chartreuse.
